Post Pregnancy Strength and Conditioning
Pregnant and new mums can exercise safely with our Physio led ‘core and more’ conditioning class. Created on the basis of the latest research, our low impact aerobic warm-up, strengthening and stretch class should be part of your weekly exercise routine and gives you a lot of inspiration and confidence to continue safely at home.
Is this class suitable for me?
This wonderful class is specifically designed for women who are pregnant or from 6 weeks post-delivery up until 2 years after having their baby. All he exercises are tailored to different stages of pregnancy and post-natal period. We also understand that every pregnancy is different so you do not have to worry about not being able to do as much as someone else.

What to Expect
Before joining the class you will be asked to fill out a health questionnaire to help the physio tailor the class to your needs and abilities.
The class focusses on postural changes during the childbearing period and may lead to back & pelvis problems. The exercises challenge your balance, core & pelvic floor muscles to help your body cope with demands of your pregnancy or being a new mum. The class includes gentle stretching, strengthening and breathing exercises. The grand finale is relaxation which will allow you to switch off from daily stresses and leaving you feeling refreshed.
What to Bring
Please bring plenty to drink, an exercise mat and a towel. Wear something comfortable like leggings and a t-shirt.
