Facial Stretch Therapy
Fascial Stretch Therapy, also known as FST™, is a gentle, assisted stretching treatment designed to improve mobility, reduce tension, and help your body move with greater ease. Unlike traditional stretching, which often focuses on individual muscles, FST™ works with the fascia — the connective tissue network that surrounds and connects muscles, joints, nerves, and organs throughout the body.
How does FST™ work?
During a session, your therapist guides your body through a series of comfortable, supported stretches while using gentle traction, movement, and breathing cues. This helps encourage the fascia and nervous system to relax, creating more space around the joints and allowing tissues to move more freely.

What is fascia?
Fascia is a continuous web of connective tissue found throughout the body. It supports and links muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and organs. When fascia is healthy and hydrated, movement usually feels smooth and efficient. When it becomes tight or restricted through injury, surgery, inflammation, repetitive movement, poor posture, stress, or long periods of sitting, it can contribute to stiffness, discomfort, and reduced range of motion.
Benefits of Fascial Stretch Therapy
- Reduced muscle tightness, stiffness, and discomfort
- Improved flexibility, mobility, and joint range of motion
- Better posture, body awareness, and movement quality
- Improved circulation and recovery after exercise
- Support for relaxation, sleep, and nervous system balance
- Greater ease, comfort, and confidence in everyday movement

What to expect during your session
FST™ is carried out fully clothed on a treatment table, so please wear comfortable clothing you can move in, such as leggings, shorts, joggers, or a T-shirt. Your therapist may begin by asking about your movement, posture, injury history, lifestyle, and any areas of discomfort before tailoring the session to your needs.
The treatment is designed to be pain-free and works with your body rather than forcing it. Your main role is to relax and breathe while your therapist supports the movements within a comfortable range.
Who can benefit from FST™?
FST™ may be helpful if you feel stiff, sit for long periods, train regularly, are recovering from injury, experience back or joint discomfort, struggle with poor posture, or simply want to move more freely. It can support people of different ages and activity levels, from those looking for gentle relaxation to those wanting to improve performance and recovery.
