When we run our muscles tighten and shorten. If we don’t counteract this by lengthening and stretching, the muscles, joints and bones are put under a great amount of stress.
Yoga for runners will focus on alignment and muscle balance, helping you to increase your power and reduce injury.
Learning restorative yoga poses will promote circulation and lymphatic flow, and encourage muscles to deeply relax, which can help speed up recovery after your run.
We will also incorporate breathing techniques into each class. By co-ordinating the breath to each movement it allows the mind, body and breath to work as one.
The classes are run in 4 week block and cost £9 per class. You can also buy a package for 4 weeks at £36.
